I've eaten a lot of oranges since going high raw. Today is another example, I've had three so far, and just might do a fourth before the day is over. Interestingly, on days like this, my skin appears to have a bit of an orange tint to it. Not that I'm complaining, it enhances the slight tan that I have. Yet, I sometimes wonder if this is more "mental" than "physical". :) I've read that oranges are great "cell scrubbers" so, I'm listening to my body and feeding it whatever it's craving. Last weekend it was avocados... thankfully, my skin didn't turn green-ish yellow.
Has anyone noticed skin color changes while eating raw?

Wow, this is great that you are in touch with your body already.
Ah good for you for doing this!
Enjoy those oranges. I read also they are cleansing

I have been in touch with my body (the mind/body connection) for YEARS. Sadly, it's likely due to 38 years of poor health (headaches, GI issues, spinal alignment abnormalities, etc, etc, etc). My parents often ignored my childhood complaints by saying, "Well, I don't know what the h*ll is wrong with you" (thanks a lot mom). Always a sickly kid, and not overly healthy as an adult either (chemically sensitive, smell sensitive, environmental allergies, blah, blah, blah). LOL I've learned to make my own connections and associations between physical changes or pain and emotional disturbances, as well as the food that I've recently eaten. All one has to do is be perceptive and pay attention.
Thank you for the compliment. :)

orange colored skin lol. yeah it can happen, especially if you eat way too many carrots. my dad's a carrot juice fiend and his skin is a bit orangy at times haha. i've never heard of oranges causing orange skin. but anything is possible right? i don't think it does any harm, but it sure is funny.:p

Just too add on, I notice the inside of my palms and the soles of my feet go orange when I drink a lot of carrot juice.

Yes with carrots. I drank nothing but carrot juice for 3 days(It's what I wanted) I couldn't get enough then I didn't drink any for about a month. But there was a slight orange tint to my skin.
I get orange often aw well, but i do not eat many carrots, lettuce, winter squash, kale and canteloupe have more beta-carotene than carrots, and spinach is right under. Check this out: http://www.nutrientreference.com/beta-carotene.html
