View Full Version : Help - too many lemons!

I was going to start a Master Cleanse this week and bought all my supplies including about 11 lemons. Then our bathrooms at work went out again. :( This means when we have to use the bathroom (which I do a lot of on the cleanse) I have to get my coat on and trudge across the street to use another business' bathroom. There is no way I'm doing that 3 or 4 times/hour - especially as I work the front desk and answer phones. Apparently this is not going to be a quick plumbing fix as its been ongoing for awhile now and experts keep getting called in. They're even talking about getting portapotties - in winter weather no less. LOL! So no MC for me right now.

I would love ideas on how to use these lemons up before they go bad or how to preserve them. I like lemon squeezed in water and will start doing that again and I made some lemony macaroons - yum! Any other ideas?

Salad dressings, lemonade, add them to your green smoothies to give them a nice kick, ummm that's all I've got right now :cool:

lemons in your water, lemons in avocado kale salad, lemons to me . . .

Juice and freeze them in ice cube trays. Then just pop one out and put it in your water or recipe when you need it.

I agree, Freeze the juice and you will be well on your way for Summer Lemonade. Pop them out of the Ice Tray container and put in a Zip Loc and it will take up less room in the Freezer.

That Bathroom Thing is s REAL BUMMER. I hope he gets it fixed Right once and forever..........

I made a strawberry lemon smoothie this morning. Just strawberries, lemons (minus the outside skins) and agave. Yum-OH! This too could be frozen.

make raw lemonade juice lemons and several apples - I love it in the summer

Kale, lemon and apple makes great green juice or green smoothie

You can still take lemon/water in the morning. It will cleanse your liver

I use lemon in all recipes (burger, cracker, sauces, soup, vinagrette)
