Tomorrow is 4 weeks raw for me. Yeah!!!! Today however, I woke up hungry and just now 10 at night I feel full. I think I ate an entire bag of dates, numerous fruits, nuts, green smoothies, salads, and whatever else I could get my hands on raw. I don't know what happend. Right now I'm stuffed with an abundance of raw food which doesn't feel so hot now. I saw the tread about compulsion eating which I am but today I don't think I was compulsive eating. Just more so hungry. Ever have days like that.

Yep, I do :)....and when I do I eat. I'm pretty in tune with my body so I usually listen to her ;). But seriously, it seems to happen around ovulation, and that time of the month.

yes for about a year after going raw :D
green tea though not officially raw is still a simple natural and only liquid substance that quells appetite . so does lemon squeezed into ice water .

Thanks so much. I'm glad I'm not alone. I do feel overstuffed in a bad way now but I just couldn't get full until now. Next time i will drink the water with lemon to see if that helps. I jsut kept popping fruit left and right. I must have consumed 2000 calories today in raw food. NO lie. :eek:
i know what you mean!! there have been times i've eaten upwards of 8 apples, almost consecutively lol. then there will be days that i'm barely hungry. don't worry, everything adjusts, and evens out :)

Don't worry about the calories. I just would not eat so much at night and try to sleep on it. Things will taper off. So if you are Hungury.....EAT.

Some say kombucha curbs appetites. It works for me. I actually can't drink it right before a meal because I want to enjoy my meal! It's wonderful that you stayed raw even through those feelings, awesome job!

It's not fun or good for your body to eat to the point of feeling really, uncomfortably full. I believe this happens when are bodies are really craving a nutrient that is lacking in our diet. We eat and eat but don't feel satisfied and then we are stuffed.
For me, this happens when I exclude sea salt from my diet and I eat and eat in search of sodium. Also, sometimes I don't get enough zinc and I won't be satisfied until I have some pumpkin seeds.

I woke up this morning and everything seems normal again. I do think my body was trying to tell me somthing yesterday, I just couldn't figure out what it wanted. I'm oil pulling right now start the day off fresh again.
Raisingplenty= Thanks so much. Noramly I would have ate every candy bar in sight. I never thought about how good I actually was yesterday. Thanks for reminding me. That was a big deal that I didn't go eat some candy or chips and ate all raw instead. Thanks so much.
