I know I've asked if anyone eliminates alot in one day....& what I've found is that after being raw for more than a month 2x I've had days where I have eliminated at least 10x. Does anyone else have this? Is this just the body detoxing?

Hi Katie P...was going to let someone else answer. Seems like we are the only ones on. Haha
Anything unusual(if you arent eating cooked food and have sickness) is detox. And I would say going to the bathroom many times(eliminating) is the best way to rid it.I get colon hydrotherapy as that helps alot.
I wish I went ten times a day.haaha...I actually have the opposite challenge.

I drank some parsley/celery juice yesterday and today . . . oh wow! Usually I go just once or twice in a day, but the parsley juice is really detoxing me. I think it's just detox . . . better out than in.

what are your stools like? are they healthy or runny or...?

it's natural to have more bowel movements from eating a lot of fruits and veggies.. even for the cooked food and meat eater. so it may be just because you're eating more fruits and veggies now..although i don't know what you eat.

10 times a day is quite a lot. how many times are you eating a day? if the colon ect is healthy and tip top... you're suppose to go the amount of meals you eat in a day. 3 meals a day would mean 3 bowel movements. it it can take some time to heal your colon and have the proper amount of bowel movements daily...although everyone is different, but generaly is the key for humans and animals.

is your colon unhealthy? frequent bowel movments can mean colon cancer and thyroid problems. is your hormones out of whack? any sign of thyroid problems? too low or high in iodine? are you on your period? periods can stimulate frequent bowel movements. are you eating anything you're allergic too? some allergies aren't obvious.

but it's probably because you're intaking more fruits and veggies... but hey.. i'm not an expert nor a nurtricianist nor a doctor.

ps

there's many foods and drinks that can stimulate more bowel movements.. even solid ones.
have a look at what you eat to find clues if this may be adding more to your situations.

All the Fiber becomes Rotor Roter and drives everything out, it's Normal and Good. Soon things will slow down some but you will always if RAW go more often.

Ten times in one day, wow. Well, in the first week I went to the bathroom i think twice that week (better than once a week!) then it really sped up to I think 5-6 times a day and now it is even at once a day.

Katie P -- for the last week, I was attempting to add some brown rice back to my diet for various reasons. It didn't work well for me. I just don't function well on anything but all raw. So, I'm all raw, baby, yeah! :)

And here I am after more than a couple years all raw for most of the time, and I'm detoxing. The brown rice attempt only last a few days, and I decided to do all raw starting Friday. I also got a ton of sun on Friday and Saturday and did some really intense yoga on Saturday and Sunday.

I woke up at 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep. It's only 830, and I've already "gone" about 5 times. I'm really not worried. My body's just getting rid of stuff it doesn't want! No harm there. I think that if this were daily, it could signify bigger problems, but for a short period of time, it just is.

I'm sharing my experience in case it helps to understand my perspective. I don't know all of the details of your life, but I would guess it's just detox. In which case it will pass. haha.

I think it's a detox. I eat everytime I'm hungry so somewhere around 5-6x just depending on my workout & what I'm eating sometimes I might just eat a piece of fruit & then an hour later eat more fruit or something else. I definetly feel clean...I actually like going that much, but I don't know if that is necessarily a good thing if I did.
Thanks for all your responses
