Hello dear rawbies. Has anyone ever done this MC to the point where they were as certain as they could be that they had a clean colon? This is the main reason I did this cleanse and I am getting so hungry. Will it get to the point where I am eliminating nothing but absolutely clear fluid - is that how I will tell if my colon is clean enough to start eating again? I did the cleanse to rid myself of what I thought might be a blockage. Any answers will be so much appreciated. I am pretty sure my tongue is clear - actually don't remember what tongues really look like if coated. I don't usually look at my tongue so I am not sure what it normally looked like before I did this. But brown, still smelly liquid is what I'm eliminating up to this morning,:o my 15th day. Last time I did this for about 5 weeks. Don't think I can be that strong this time unless I have to.

Also, have any of you bought the book "Master Cleanse Secrets" by Raylen Sterling? And was it worth it? Should I buy it?

Sue.

I am sorry I have not. Perhaps if your body is saying to eat, then eat. Eating would show if there was still signs of blockage? If your body says wait then wait, all you can do. Rather keep going n clear it all than to give up ship just before you see land!!! ? I am so silly.Hope this helps sweet.
I love colon hydrotherapy. You would know you were clean for sure. Or do your own at home. Then you will know and hasten the process if you want to be done.Love you sweet sista friend.

Post script...I have been smelling mold in my nostrils for a couple days. And had burning bitter for a couple weeks.I am glad its out rather than in.

I've read that the old stuff on the walls of the colon gradually softens enough to be expelled, that this happens in layers and is a long-term process. It seems questionable to me that you could get rid of all of it in one fast. How you eat between fasts is also important, and can continue the cleansing process. And I'm guessing you could heal a blockage but still have layers of old stuff that aren't ready to release. I'd be happy if I was doing something that was facilitating the release of smelly stuff, and would want to do what I could to keep that going, as long as I felt I could still break the fast later without going nuts over food because I'd deprived myself for too long.

I did a 35-day MC in the past and still wasn't totally cleaned out. My tongue wasn't clear yet, either. I've read (on a MC board) that few people get to the point of having a clear tongue, or that it gets clear and then gets coated again (I imagine because another layer is releasing?).

It seems, on both emotional and physical levels, that achieving a certain level of clarity invites the next layer that needs healing to come to the surface. I see it as a long-term process, and try to welcome whatever comes. I like how Aleesha puts it: "better out than in".

That's from what I've read and experienced so far. But I have lots more to learn.

What happens when you do the MC, and use the SWF, is that yes, your colon gets cleaned out, but then your body keeps doing its thing, metabolism, replacing old dead cells with new ones, etc., and all that waste is moved out to the colon to be gotten rid of!

I don't think that you will EVER have "totally clear" when you do the cleanse, as your body really does need to keep moving the waste out... but, the longer you are cleansing, the 'newer' the waste is! Your body gets rid of the old stuff, but also gets rid of the daily waste from cell metabolism.

So, stay on the MC until you experience true hunger, but no longer! Remember to come off the MC carefully, and take more days to transistion if you've gone beyond 10 days!

Well, you've certainly tried to help me with this and I appreciate it and thank you very much. I thought that I couldn't do another day yesterday, but that was yesterday! Today I am just fine. I've got my enthusiasm back and have some more energy and my hunger has abated. I feel so great and sleep so well. At the moment I just don't think I can afford the colon hydrotherapy but I will keep it in mind for sure. Artgirly....one of our dear friends is a massage therapist and I'm going to ask him if he knows something about this and if he can recommend a place here.
