Ok, I am very new to the raw world and happen to be staring my second trimester of pregnancy. I have sucessfully had a few days of 100% raw and have felt hungry a lot even though I know that I have food in my stomach, I eat all day long giving my food time to digest in between. Today I decided to look up on the internet how many recommended calories I need right now for my height, weight and being pregnant and then calculate about how many calories I ate today. The number was way lower, recommended was about 2000 and what I actually ate was closer to 650.
I have been eating mostly fruit during the day and ending in the evening with a large salad with olive oil and nuts.
Should I be worried about not getting the recommended amount of calories? If anyone has any answers to help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

I would not worry, but would increase your calories. Since you are hungry, eat! add an avocado to your salad. fruit is wonderful, but It seems you might need denser foods. bananas, for instance. I am sure others will have many suggestions for you. Eat, enjoy!

Absolutely, eat, eat, eat!
Your caloric needs go up a little when you're pregnant and a LOT when you're nursing, so get used to eating whatever it takes.
It's not about you any more. Get those calories in! Avocados, bananas, nuts, and seeds will all add some calorie dense goodness to your diet, but make sure you are also eating a rainbow of foods including a ton of greens for the protein required to build a little animal.
Definitely include avocado, walnuts, and chia seeds for the EFA content.
Sprouts, sea greens, spirulina and chlorella would all be wonderful additions to your diet.
Eat, mama! Eat!
