I've been OP for a couple of weeks now and I've noticed some interesting differences with various oils. Sunflower and Sesame oil, while lighter and thinner, leave a white film on my tongue. Olive oil, while heavier and stronger in taste, leaves my tongue pink and completely clean, as well as a noticeable improvement in softer hair and skin. Rinsing with hydrogen peroxide after OP with sunflower/sesame oil produces bubbling... not so with olive oil. Does the heavier oil kill more bacteria?
I thought this was odd since most websites that I've read have recommended sunflower/sesame oil over olive oil. And yet, my experience seems to be that olive oil has a more dramatic effect. Could be individual differences?
Has anyone else noticed differences between oils?? I'm just curious.
