so i am registered for a very intense mountaineering class
we will begin the first week of april and be doing big climbs every weekend for 10 weeks
I need to start dehydrating which has never been my thing...
how about some great energy packed food ideas or old threads to reference

green smoothie fruit leather. make a thicker than usual green smoothie - dehydrate until fruit leather. cut into small pieces. packs well. travels well. tastes, well? GOOD!

I'd take celery sticks, carrots and pears. Some avos&spinach would be great too. And a fresh oj,-yum!

oh when i said hills, i meant MOUNTAINS
i am not sure avocados are invited when we are ice axe arresting.....sounds messy!;)

not if they are in the box :) Ah well, what else could you take.....there are so many possibilities! I'd take the above and some red bell peppers. Enjoy your trip.

Trail Mix would be an easy addition, dried Fruit. Fresh Fruit would help with your hydration. In Joy your weekend climbs.

What sprang to my mind is trail mix and oranges or clementines or something nice and juicy and non-bruisable like that.
