What do you have for a "treat"? Really raw and really great for you yet not something you have all the time?

My body asked for fruit today.I was so happy.Juice was first(zing zang) early on and then fruit. What did I make? A virgin(no alcohol) PINA COLADA.
By far my fave smoothie thats not green.
Young coconut water and flesh
Shredded coconut
Coconut oil(warmed)
Pinepapple (frozen)
Banana (froz)
Strawberries(froz)
Blend and pour into an amaZING glass that suits the beauty of the drink.ooo la la. Hawaii here I come.
Do share????? oh and a little fun thing.
Tell your spilled smoothie story.I have one and will share in a bit.Its way sadder than spilled milk and its worth crying over too....hahahah

I make a chocolate mousse pie. Because the filling is lighter, I find it more digestable for me. It is so yummy.

I use an almond and date crust. The mouse is made form avocado, raw cocoa powder, vanilla, soaked dates, and water.

I have been substituting raw carob powder for cocoa in many things I have made and love the flavor. I think I'll try it in this pie next time I make.

I keep so many things Frozen but I always try to keep Fresh Fruit Ready to Go.

My spilled smoothie story. One night I made an amazing pina colada smoothie, all white, tropically,no alc of course, and had some....woweeeee. It was a bliss instantly(coconut water and coconut flesh). I could not wait for the next day to drink the rest.
Got up, went to get it, it dropped out of fridge, cover broke, it went all over the floor. ugh and sigh.
My daughter had a smoothie spill, in the car, that same morning, as her husband hit a bump or something. She got it all over her face and all down her front on clothing!!!!
We make smoothies with such wonderful ingredients and such love that a spill really is worth crying over...hahahaha

For a quick snack, I love fresh fruit (a nice juice anjou pair, in particular). However, for the not-so-quick version, I LOVE a good smoothie, with berries, banana, almond milk, maca and a little hemp protein- oh, and some agave nectar.

As for a true indulgence, and an absolute favorite of mine... I LOVE Alissa's date-nut torte! I haven't made many fancy desserts thus far, but this one is a real winner and is a hit with non-rawers.
