hello everybody,

I received a bag of Diamond brand in-shell mixed nuts for Christmas. I figured they probably were not raw. Just in case, I emailed the company and was informed that the nuts do not come into contact with heat of any sort. Does this mean the nuts are raw? I have been eating some of them at times. I tried sprouting the almonds and they seemed to get that little bulge at the end.

Anyway, does this mean they are raw or would they have been heated before being sent to Diamond company? Does anyone have any idea?

thanks!

They probably went through some treatment. There is SO much debate on Nuts, wheather RAW or not. If they L@@K uncooked, no coating junk on the outside and doesn't say Roasted. I eat them, I don't eat a ton at a time but if I want a Nut. So just send them to ME.

Thanks Spicyful!
Yes I have been eating them as the company said they had no heating at all in treatment...they might have had some, and I wouldn't buy them for myself. But since I have them and they were given to me out of kindness, I shall eat them :)
thanks!
If you really want me to send some I can, lol
