i'm internet shopping and just curious for some reviews on adding powdered fruits to recipes like...

blueberry powder
camu camu
goji berry
papaya
and other fruits.

i'm definately purchasing cacao, maca, carob and mesquite.. but when it comes to common fruits like blueberries ect... is this really worth it to use rather than fresh? have we enetered the world almost like the jetsons now? is this really healthy or are we selling ourselves too short? because i feel fresh living is the best... but since i don't have it growing in my back yard and well.. i just want some opnions if this stuff is worth it. and i certainly don't plan to become dependant on it.. become a fruit powder.

and some of this stuff is really expensive.. like 10-70 dollars a pound!!!!!!! besides carob.

share please :)

in my opinion the closer to nature is the best option. we really don't know how much we alter nutrition when we alter the natural state of food. i enjoy the preparation as well as the food itself.

and i agree with you 100%.

i suppose for now i will be a "junk food raw foodist" for my transition. just getting some basics. because i am poor being the main reason... and the other.. some will help for transition in recipes although i do feel i'm a strong enough ndividual to go mono right off.

but i seriously fell into a shock when i saw blueberry powder being marketed... like what is going on here!

then i realised that some of these compaines selling goji juice that it comes from a powder form.

I've never thought of buying powder. I guess you could take dehydrated and powder it in the Vita-Mix, at least that's what I am going to try. Especially BLUEBERRIES. Thanks for Sharing.

fresh is better of course. if u need to supplement get a powder that offers something different like goji or camu.

Fresh is definitely the best option. I'd only go for powdered form, when I don't have access to fresh for whatever reason.
