I dunno :) ....can someone please tell me?
I'd like to share some info with you wonderful raw people and about what I've been eating. Hopefully you guys can give me some feedback on what I should add!
So I'm on Day 4 and our diet has consisted of-
Lots of good water
A couple of salads a day of
arugula/spinach
red onion
tomatoes
avocado
olive oil
lemon juice
salt n pepper (is pepper raw?)
also we have tons of nuts so we've been eating cashews, pecans, macadamia, and sunflower seeds
and we found these awesome raw flax seed crackers so we use that as like our bread :)
always start the day off with a large green smoothie which usually includes
chard/kale
apple
pear
banana
raw almond butter
s/t blueberries
tons larabars the cashew cookie flavor
we've made mushroom pizza which consists of almond butter, a large portobella mushroom, tomato, avocado, red onion and a lil lemon juice
we havent really had any beans i dunno how important that is, nor how to prepare them so if you guys can post some recipes or tips i would greatly appreciate it....
thanks for reading!!

Your diet sounds very good and varied.
Try not to overdo the fats such as nuts and avocado. It sounds like you are having a lot of them.

You might want to include some sea veggies for good measure, they have lots of minerals.
Beans are not very digestable raw . . . some can be sprouted. Lentil sprouts are very good.
Your diet looks good. Keep having fun with your food and eating lots of greens!

I'm still trying to understand why people of a healthy weight would have to monitor this closely.... alot of you guys are always talking about "less nuts, less avacados"...
I eat almonds and cashews everyday, and avacados every couple of days. I'm high raw (90-100%) and my weight is never over 125 lbs at 5'5" height.
I've GAINED weight on raw (from 110 lbs - to - 125 MAX lbs.) but it was weight I NEEDED, as my BMI was too low for my body type.
I also exercise regularly now.
Would someone like me need to watch the nuts/avacados for ANY REASON beside weight?

Hey, I eat a lot of nuts and have avocado 6 days a week. I think avocado is actually very helpful at shedding excess weight around the middle. I'm 124 pounds and 5 ft 5, so basically we're the same! I was 98 pounds and spent months trying to put on weight. I'm only just starting out on trying to go raw, but I love nuts and I love avocado. I'm a perfectly healthy weight and I am not getting any processed or nasty fats from rubbish SAD foods. Fruits and vegetables have very little fats in, and you NEED fat in your diet, so I assume it's perfectly fine so have avocado and nuts, because I don't see myself getting fats from many other sources!!! (Except the occasional use of olive/coconut oil)

Hey everyone thanks for your answers! I have definetly been eating at least one avocado a day and a couple of the larabars and a handful of nuts. I haven't really lost any weight but i'm not overweight so i imagine i won't be loing much weight anyway. I'm 5'10 and 135 pounds
But thats ok.... I was wondering how much is too much?
Is more than one avocado a day too much? How many nuts is too much?
I guess everyone has a different opinion but i'd like to hear all if possible!

Everyone is different. Just as each person is in a different stage at any given time. You most probably won't be eating the same daily amount of nuts and/or avos for eons. Enjoy them as you may really need them right now.
Some days I'll want more greens, some more fruit, some more fat...it just depends. If something I ingest doesn't vibe well with me, I make appropriate alterations. Over the years I've learned to trust the process of letting me body do what it needs to, and for me it works.
Continue to explore and discover what is best for you. :)

I was the one that posted about keeping the fats down.
The reaction imediatly was tied up with weight.
I do not concern myself with weight. I have never needed to. I have always said (even before going raw) that calories was not a word in my vocabulary.
I think that if you eat with health in mind, the weight will take care of itself. I have never been overweight because I have always eaten with health in mind.
I try to keep my fat levels down because it is best for my health.

I think you're doing just fine.
Don't worry about fats. You're not eating them to excess at all and you are slender to begin with, so weight is not an issue for you.
You're not going to gain massive amounts of weight eating a diet like you are.
Avocados especially are sooooo good for you. Fear not the raw fats!
It is especially true of a raw food diet:
If it feels good, do it.
Sprouts and sea veggies are powerhouses of nutrition, so I might try to get some in there somewhere, but really, just as you are, you're doing better than 99% of the western world.
Just keep following your instincts! You're doing great!
:)
