Hi everyone :D

I know this has been up and turned before but I now that several of you here has healed or is healing from Crohns or Colitis.
I was just wondering how you are doing on raw food ?
If you could share any of you good results of what had helped you heal, like juice feasting, fasting, suppliments, a lot of fruit, or no fruit or..... ?

My husband has just been diagnosed with crohns and is finaly interested in trying out raw food. Like he told me; his gut feeling tells him that raw food will heal him :D Well I would like to support him in this wonderful decission and a few raw testemonials would be really great. He need to know that he can trust that gut feeling.
I allready got David Kleins book and just ordred the one by Paul Nison. I had a look around this site and other places online and found several stories of recovery from colitis and crohns. Getting an update from you guys would be fantastic :D

Check out my interview (http://rawkinradio.com/?s=Paul+Nison)with Paul as well and he's scheduled to be on Rawkin Radio (http://RawkinRadio.com) again in April and on Let's Talk Raw (http://LetsTalkRaw.com) in May so, if you or your husband has direct questions for him in May, you can ask.

As long as I stay raw I do well. When I eat any cooked food my colitis returns. What really helps is green smoothies. I have also noticed that other aliments improve with eating raw. I started eating some cooked food a couple of months ago and I noticed that my arthritis really flared up. This week I went back to a diet of mostly green smoothies and fruit. I have now noticed that my joints no longer hurt. When the colitis clears up, I am able to eat salads and nuts, etc. easily.

Thankyou so much both of you :D

Annavon thanks for the great advice. I have been looking into the juicin/smoothie for crohns/colitis. I gues it would be the most soothing when you bowel is upset ;-) He cant have to much sweet fruits as he is border diabetic aswell, but I have be trying to find out the low GI fruits for him to eat.

Revvell what a great intervew :). I have to read some of his books. I will be listenling again in april :)
