Hello everyone, I'm new to the raw lifestyle I started my venture Feb. 24th. I found out about this way of life by mistake, I was at the book store looking for a low salt cookbook and ended up buying a book titled: "You are what you eat". I found the book very informative more interesting in the back of the book she recommends eating more raw foods, my first thought YUK:confused:. I decided to try it and have been enjoying it thus far and I must add I've lost 10 pounds. I have way more to lose but I'm more interested in just being happy and making better choices and I'm sure the weight will come off. Usually I would have a time limit on when I want all the weight to be gone, but this time around I'm just going to enjoy the journey. I really glad this forum exist, it keeps me motivated. You guys rock!!!

Isn't it amazing how little time it takes us to crave and enjoy these wonderful foods? Good luck on your raw journey!

Good luck staying raw. The food does taste really good. If I slip and have anything cooked, it doesn't taste like much, but the raw food is bursting with flavor.
Here's to your health and the weight loss I know raw foods will help you lose. Alissa's book is a great resource and uncook book!
