How does that compare to when you were/are cooked?

The past couple of days I have gotten into a schedule of sleeping about 7 hrs at night and waking up with loads of energy. Then at around 3 I get tired and when I can, I take a half hour nap. It gives me a mega-boost.

when i was 100% raw about 10 years ago i forced myself to get 4 hours. i had to stop eating early because the raw foods kept me awake and i thought it abnormal or might harm me to not get enough sleep although with even 2 hours i was bright and very alert.
today i disagree and feel i don't need much sleep or should just go with the flow.
as a cooked food eater i need 7-20 hours of sleep! i can sleep and sleep. even when i wake-up finaly i feel the need for naps and may take 3 naps. and it isn't depression most of time. i'm sleepy!
i'm curious to see what happens when i'm back 100% raw starting soon.

I adore sleeping, and will sleep in till the cows come home whenever I get the chance.
How much do I get? Usually around 5-6 hours a night. This used to kill me, but eating raw I'm fine with it.
I could probably get less, but I don't want to, see above... ;)

So far I have noticed I am well rested after eight hours of sleep (I am def. still detoxing though). I also have noticed that I have a lot more energy right away at work. I have to start my shift at 5:30 in the morning and I am usually exhausted until about 8:30. The past week I have been ready to go as soon as I get up. I know it is just going to get better too :D

I just slept for 6 hours, rested for an hour before I actually got out of bed. Not uncommon....I Was just like pixie before, napping all over the place, every chance.
Sometimes I will steal 20-30 minute nap in the afternoon still though.

Cooked 8-10 hrs
Raw 4-6 hrs
It took me about a year of eating raw before I could really sleep less.

Cooked: 8 hrs. but wake up grumpy and wishing I could have slept longer
Raw: 8 hrs. but wake up refreshed and ready to meet the day. In the summer I'll likely need a lot less sleep though.

My sleep varies but after going raw I needed way less sleep and was up and with it in the a.m.. Once I began deeper detox as my raw progressed,I needed more sleep. Now I am in that.
Sleep is repair so I am fine with whatever I need.I make it a priority to sleep.I have a set bedtime and rarely alter.
Sleep,as it renews cells,if we have not given the body a ton of food to work on(after 6) then it is actually beauty sleep.wooohooooRebuilding and renewing and waking refreshed.Love it livin raw!!!

I've just started and I'm sleeping more, I'm guessing just because I fall asleep so easily and sleep so well. Its amazing. I never thought I had trouble sleeping but I used to wake up when my husband came to bed and would spend at least a few minutes trying to fall asleep. Now, I fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up feeling better.
