Hello all,
a few years agao I started my first raw phase but it faded away a few month later.
Now with begin of the catholic period of fasting I started again to be 100% raw. I see it more as a spiritual period, but if I feel good I will stay with it, maybe 100% maybe a bit less, but at least 75%.
It is nice to see, that the people here are not this missionary and fanatic.
I'm happy to be here and hopefully we can enjoy each other.

Marcel

Welcome.
Glad that you found a use for lent and that you will continue after it is over.
My grandson is catholic and told me that he gave up Coco Pops and Being Cranky. You are doing a great deal better than him.
Good Luck.

You know the song, right??!!
Is the pope catholic?
Yes, it is like a hymn for us people born in Bochum. I think it is one of the few songs about a city in popstyle and it is played before all matches of our favourite soccerclub (not very successfull, but loved).

It has been awhile since i have posted here, but I began 100% raw last year for Lent and was very grateful for finding this way of eating! It was much easier to follow as a spiritual commitment. After Easter, the 100% part slipped a bit, and by this year it is more like 80% and I am missing that discipline so here I am back. Best wishes to you! btw I am of German descent, but a convert to the Church in 2001.
