Hi,
I just want to say that I eat fairly healthy but for the last few years my hair has been gradually falling out. But in the last two months it has been really bad. I'm surprised that I still have hair left. I just can't figure it out. I juice every morning and eat salads for lunch, for dinner I eat cooked etc..potatoes, beans or vegetables. So I would say I'm a lot healthier than my cooked food friends. So I can't understand why my hair is falling out in the last two months. I took a blood test about 5 months ago, the doctor said everything is normal. I get enough proteins, iron and I'm not anemic which means my b12 is fine too. I also supplement with b-12, Kelp, I eat lots of seaweeds 5 times a week. Can someone please help me figure out what the reason may be? Also, I just moved into a new apartment and I wonder if that may be the culprit. I do notice my scalp gets pretty itchy now when I don't wash it for 2 days. Please help! Any information is appreciated.

do you have any rashes or white, black or red bumps on your hair follicles? if so.. it may be easier to narrow it down and some homopathic remedies may rid it.
it aso could be hormonal.. and i hear raw maca is good for that.
if you're concerned with your apartment.. ask your neighbors and land lord if they are experiencing anything. also ask if the past tendant had hair problems. it may sound bizarre but often whoever lived in the place before you you may follow their lead. it's been known people getting cancer and leikimia (sp) with no traces before hand nor in family's history but got it after moving into a place who use to live there with health problems. there's feng shui cures and space clearing that can help stop the misfortune.

I don't have any bumps on my head, although I notice I may have just a few acne on my scalp. Can't ask the tenants because right now, am only one living here in the building. This building was gut renovated and so no one lived here before me. It use to be a commercial space. I also wonder b/c I don't eat so healthy for dinner but for breakfast and lunch I eat real healthy. I ponder if this inconsistent way of eating can cause hair loss?

There you go, it just got renovated and probably is off-gassing. (Or there might be something about it being winter and you not getting enough sunlight, which means you are not getting enough vitamin D, which means your calcium stores are low and this could affect hair growth too.)
Off-gassing is nothing I know about but I'm concerned about, because my kids will be moving into a new school building next year. Does anyone know anything about offgassing and what to look for. Are there certain things you just should not be around? Fresh paint? It's a poured concrete structure. On the other hand the old school building had asbestos.

i don't think your diet has anything to do with it.
i would get it checked out by a dermatologist. if you have acne on it or whatever... get it checked out just to make sure you don't have fungus or some disease or condition that can turn worse. losing hair isn't good and you say this started years ago but now is itching and more hair loss.... sounds like it's progressed. best to know exacty what it is to take care of it now than wait for it to get worse, eh! and just incase it's something or another..some hair problems can turn to a disease and get bad for health.
derms usualy cost 50-100+ for a appointment unless you have insurance. you may possiably need an antibiotic, but grab a perscription slip to have for back-up, but i'd maybe look for homopathic remedies first to try.. i'm not a doctor but this is what i would do.
also... commercial sites.. it doesn't matter. whoever spent a lot of time there before can still lead the fortune or misfortune..history in general is important. i'm a professional with feng shui and space clearing btw. :) but i'm not seeing this the result of your hair. it could possiably have an influance however.
i hope your condition heals very soon.

If they don't already take chlorella you could add that to their diet because it works soooo well at removing toxins from the body!

Have you had any emotional upsets or upheavals in your life in the past few months? I've had massive (well...it seemed massive!) hair loss after stressful events. Things got stressful at work and home at the same time and a few months later, I had a bizzare amount of hair coming out. It was everywhere (pretty noticeable when your hair is 2 feet long)! It was in the shower, on the floor, in my brush... I'd run my fingers through it and come away with a handful! It's upsetting, I know...though if that's the reason for it, it does go away.

How old are you? It could be hormonal as well. My hairdresser said it is "normal" for women to have thining hair as they get older. I'm 39 and I've noticed a difference in my hair over the past three years. And could the itchiness just be from dry skin from it being cold and dry out? Just a couple more thoughts. Raw could overcome both of these obstacles.

They don't, I'll be sure to add it. Thanks for the tip RawSar!
I was also thinking that I'm lucky that it's a school, because the doors to a school are always opening and shutting. Especially in the morning, the door are practically standing open for 20+ minutes while the kids arrive. :) it should be well ventilated.
