It's been over a week of raw for me so let me tell you my progress. Sadly it's only been a few days of 100% raw. Technically speaking I WAS eating raw for the whole week but now I came to the conclusions that the raw diet tolerates only plant food... I was eating raw eggs almost daily. :)

But now I'm 100% raw. I managed to add a little more variety to my diet. I'm eating mostly fruits and nuts but also seeds and the vegetables that I can find this time of the year.

I've heard that the detoxing process takes much more time than a week (months, even years?!) but I can say that I do feel a little different. First of all I feel cleaner on the inside, I can feel my skin softer. I also noticed 2 episodes of improved sleep, which is great since I sadly have insomnia. :( But everything that I feel is very mild in intensity so to speak... I guess the body really needs much more time for important changes to happen.

BTW, yesterday I felt a little weak and with a slight but visible lack of concentration. Is this a normal detox symptom? I'm worried about not eating sufficiently varied food.

I'll only continue my raw diet and see what will happen. :)

This is normal, and sounds like a mild bit of detoxing going on. Just keep it going and you'll be fine - best of rawesome health to you!!

It is what it is.You are doing well.Detox goes on for as long as you are raw. This is a good thing. You are rebuilding and releasing at the same time.Detox is different for everyone but it is all ok.
This is so worth it for most everyone who goes raw.So hang in there. You just wait until you see the blessings of the raw life!!!

I actually lost 2 kg too. I had 74 kg and now I have 72 kg. I'm 1,90 m. Don't think I lost muscle tissue though. I do strength training and I can lift as much as before.

I read that toxins are stored in the fatty tisue so maybe I got rid of some of the toxins and some of the (small) fatty tisue that I had?

I eat less now but I eat untill I feel full.

And BTW, my sleep seems to be improving everyday.

Your doing great. I'm going into week 4 and am still detoxing daily. Some days I feel like I"m on top of the world and others I'm very tired. My skin has improved, I have released 10lbs and my insides have done lots of CLEANING out so to speak. I was one who actually did feel very nausous at first ( kind of flu like) but now that that has passed I can see a marked improvement. Happy RAWLING!!!!

Thanks but I didn't feel really bad before losing weight. I hope I'm not getting bony or anything. I just eat 'till I feel full. If the body doesn't starve then I guess it's OK that I lost the 2kg.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the ride, I'll seek to add more variety to my diet, though.
