What kind of nut would you recommend for a peach pie crust? I was thinking of something mellow in flavor so it doesn't take away from the peaches.

I like using walnuts and almonds with dates. This crust kind of has a cinnamon flavor which is delish with peaches ! :)

Ground SunFlower Seeds make a great crust.

I normally use walnuts and dates, but understand about the melllow taste desired to avoid drowning out the peach.

I'd suggest macadamias, or if you can get them, truly raw cashews.

I use macadamias for the crust when I make G Living's Banana Coconut Cream Pie and it is very mild.

Pecans and dates or almonds and dates are great with peaches...

Peaches and almonds seem like they should go together, but if your walnuts have a mild flavor they might be mellower and would blend smoother. Anyway you do it, I'll bet it will be delish! :)

Thanks for all the great ideas. I decided on pecans and walnuts, added in coconut and dates, the combination is very nice. My 7 year old asked for something different so we made peach pie flowers.
