Hi....picked up a canister,a cylinder type tall canister with a cover at a thrift store..I stored kibble in it for my kitkat(a grain free yummy for her and good for her food) and when I took it out to feed her,the cover came off. It had a screen type plastic lid inside.
So I am thinking this is a sprouting jar(not glass ugh).It sure looks like one.
Anybody else think so too. What else would it be?
Well I started soaking my seeds in it and will see.I have a decked sprouter right now that is not efficient.

You're calling it a canister? Now you're call it a jar. A jar is made of glass. Anything else is questionable. What material is it made of?

Awwww thank you. For me,I focus on the whole.not in technicalities as much.If I pressured myself on every little detail, though I educate myself on ALOT of the important things and do them,my raw life would be so complicated I would be overwhelmed. My attitude is balance and peace around my food.
I use the "better than" principle. I say to myself..."is what you are doing, eating, and being, better than how it might be and you are doing a great job taking care of yourself!".
Thanks for asking.

The reason I'm asking is because if it's aluminum, you might not want to use it. Little things make a big difference so if you don't pay attention to the "technicalities" as you call them, then you may be missing out on some really great stuff. Then again... it's your health.

I was rummaging around in my cupboards yesterday and found a large glass jar. Will securing some clean nylon hose suffice? I'd love to get started sprouting.
