I was wondering after breaking a 2-4 week fast if your first bowel movement is of strong odor or any at all? Also will bowel movements come easily after digestive system is re-awoken or are enemas still needed?

giggling... i don't know if they stink... be sure to let us know ;)
sorry i couldn't resist. um... ya i would think they would stink... they are feces after all. of course, my sh*t never stinks so i wouldn't know for sure.
*oh i'm being too silly for words tonight*
depending on how you break your fast and how you live your fast depends on how your body breaks it.
if you were cheating on your fast, you may not have a bm right away.
if you break your fast with something heavy... probably no bm right away.
if you break your fast gently with cherries, grapes or soaked prunes... or perhaps a watered down green smoothie... then you'll probably have an unassisted bm right away.
if you don't... then assistance may be needed.
*see i got serious... just took me a bit*

aleesha,
what do you think of a "fast" of just eating leafy greens and celery...also consuming plenty of water and lemon water...if i did that for 1 week and broke the fast gently, do you think that i would have a BM right away? (i don't plan on doing enemas or colonics during the fast).
you are just so knowledgeable on this topic! looking forward to your reponse :)
