Hi everbody, I have a question for you. If you could buy raw nut/oat milk at the grocery store in a glass bottle for $4 for 32oz would that be something you would go for? And yes it would have to be delicious and might come in a variety of flavors.

Occasionally but not often. There's still life force in mine where there wouldn't be in a bottle, package or can.

I agree with Revvell. Not only that though, it's just so quick and easy to make it at home. There's really nothing to it and, personally, I could put that $4 toward some other raw food that is maybe not so easily homemade.

Thats funny that you say thats its so easy to make at home. I HATE making nut milks! You have to soak the nuts, then the finished product is still not perfectly smooth so the grit makes you cough and then cleaning the nut milk bags is a nightmare! I can never get them completely clean! :o i guess i am the only one with issues. Oh and another thing is that it doesn't last long.

Use a strainer. Much easier and simpler to clean.

I had some "raw" vanilla oat milk from the local health food store and had such a bad headache and stomach cramps for a day it was terrible

If it was actually raw, sure! It would just be like getting a green smoothie to go.

I am out of the house a lot and would love something like that, in small containers that I could grab and drink on the go.

I'd love a cafe somewhere that I could sit and drink it at too, but all this is really a pipe dream for me where I am.

I completely agree. That's why I stick with hemp seeds. I just throw some in a blender w/water and voila...the whole almond/cashew mylk thing is a bother, IMO..

Maybe, but I'd be wondering why it didn't cost more money esp. if it were raw and organic.

does hemp mylk not need straining?

If it does, I'm blissfully ignorant! I buy the Nutiva hemp seeds and put a few Tbs. in a blender with some water and turn it on. That's it. Usually, I'm making a banana/hemp smoothie, so I'm adding other things, like maybe agave or raw honey. Come to think of it, I rarely just drink it plain. But no, I don't strain.:)
