Hello All!

I so desperately want o take the all raw plunge. I have come officially to this site for support and encouragement. I know it is the lifestyle for me. I have been 90% raw in the past, but that was when I was living alone. My resistance is even lower now with my family. But I am committed and would like help to get there.

I am 31 years old with a lovely 6 month old and am ready to make change. I need to more disciplined.

I know I can!

I don't know if this will help, but when I first went raw I made sure I ate alot of fruit and alot of avocado and nuts and seeds, quite abit of salt too. I think this makes it much easier. Also, it really isn't as hard as you think it will be. After a few weeks the cravings for cooked really die down. At about the same time you begin to feel the magical effects of eating raw :) Good luck.

Welcome! Do one Raw day at a time. And before you know it - it becomes a lifestyle. And do NOT beat yourself up if you slip up. Read My Confession below.

It happens. Life goes on and we learn from it.

But for now? Do one Raw day at a time. All Raw. All the time.

Well the first step is always the hardest...just the decision alone is half the battle. Everyone makes the transition differently. Listen to YOUR body it will let you know what it needs. I know that's easier said then done...especially if you have selective hearing like me :D

Like another thread from this site that artgirly made...don't get caught up on numbers and percentages. Just shoot for the majority of your intake being raw. the more you do it the more your body will want it. the less it will desire the other easily accessible junk that the mainstream people mindlessly fill up on.

You are a beautiful being making a journey step by step. You are never alone so should you feel the need for encouragement just reach out your hand....someone will be there to grab it and if needed help you back up guaranteed!! :D

So best of wishes...looking forward to reading about where your new and improved healthy RAWk lifestyle takes you. Send me an invitation to the paar-taay I love finger foods :D
