Hi to all parents out there ! I'm wondering what experiences you have all had with babies teething.
Did you do anything about it or just let it be?
Was there some sort of gel/liquid/food/toys... etc that you used to help with the pain?
My niece is only about 3 months old.

Any advice from experienced moms and dads is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks

We never had a very hard time with teething here but there were a few tips that seemed to be helpful.

Teething = drool so always have a bib handy.

Give baby a wet (but well wrung out) and frozen washcloth to gnaw on. Have several freezing in individual plastic baggies so that there's always one on hand.

Buy one of those mesh baby feeder (http://www.bestbabygear.com/fresh-food-feeder-mesh-baby-feeder.html) things and let them chomp on cold or frozen fruit through it.

We didn't use any sort of gels, medicines or anything but if these methods didn't work I held him and gave him one of my fingers to chew on and he was just fine. Best of luck.

Hyland's Teething Tablets (homeopathic) are amazing. They do have lactose in them, though, if that's a barrier.
And ditto to what contessa said about something cold to chomp.

Try frozen green beans or carrot sticks

I used a gel from whole food. It did work for her.
