Cant believe it.All the talk about getting a vitamix.I will soon. But today,at a thrift store,I found a mandolin veggie slicer for $12.!!! I got home and thought I would look the model up online. It is a MIU France ,one with all kinds of blades. It sells for $120 new(mine is new too).woweeee. I have been wanting one to make some of the pretty salads.
Funny because a guy was looking at it and had it in his hands. I said inside of myself"dont buy it,put it down" and then he did...hahaha.I didnt make it happen for sure but it was funny.
So ,blessings galore.I am excited to begin making pretty food. You know,I must make my food artful as I am an artist. Now I have a new tool.woohooo

My saladucco just broke and Ive been having chopped or blended veggies.Yummy but a lil boring and not too pretty!!!Now watch out!Bette's going fancy. I love it because I cater rawfood for my grown son and he still needs veggies to look good before he will eat them....hahaha.

Great news! Just be really, really careful with it. STOP slicing when whatever you're slicing is getting too small. I have a professional grade mandoline and nearly cut my thumb off by ignoring the little voice in my head that said "enough." :o
You can make the best sweet potato chips now!

...a slicer. Never even thought of that. Hhmmm...I think maybe I'll go shopping this weekend. My hubby picked up a Hamilton Beach juicer yesterday and it works beautifully in comparison to the cheaper version we had. I think a slicer might be a nice addition to the juicer and Vita Mix.

Funny because a guy was looking at it and had it in his hands. I said inside of myself"dont buy it,put it down" and then he did...hahaha.I didnt make it happen for sure but it was funny.
So ,blessings galore.
well first and foremost i'm sharing what i know to be true and my beliefs and i'm not going religion.. i'm not religious nor do i support reigion.
but in my opnion you may of made it happen. of course the guy might of just been curious and no intentions to buy it to begin with. but your mentioning "i didn't make it happen" leads me to think you did.
where intention goes energy flows.
and thought forms have great power. when we wish things especialy out of greed and selfishness and repeatedly say wishes along the lines in our thoughts or vocaly..they have power. and when ones energy is low often others can control or greatly influance others into doing things they ordinarly wouldn't do or don't want to do. it's black magic.
simulary but a little different than focusing on one person directly.. it can be done differntly and someone appear out of blue.
so knowing this.. one has to be careful because of karma. karma hits 10 times fold.. doing good hits you 3 times fold.
so instead when i find things i want and someone else has it in their hand to buy or already owns it.. i detach myself and feel happy for them and it's real. if i'm meant to have it one will come to me later or a better one. maybe i wasn't meant to have it at all. either way.. i don't toss a negative out.

Congrats on your new mandolin... I need to get one myself. Most times I use my blender to chop food, but would prefer a nice mandolin..

Oh thank you.I had to order a safety guide but its on the way.Cant wait to use it. I used it to try and it was fun but I love to keep my fingers...haha
Pixie, thank you.I love what you said about if the man took it then it was for him.I always feel that way.I want people to get what they want.I figured I would get it if it sat there. And if not, there would be another somewhere as I go.

i apologise if i came off shrewd and pointing the finger ect. i did point the point the finger..it's just my opinion, but i didn't mean to be rude about it if i was.
i've done this many times before.. like being in a rush then going in a place and a long line and i'd be wanting to be in front then all of a sudden someone turns around and asks me if i want in front. plus other examples i could share... then i learned later on what is actualy happening and then i thought about everything happens for a reason and even delays ect can be a blessing.
and well.. i could branch off into more topics relating to this how people so this often without perhaps even realising it.
anyways... it was on my mind the past couple days and another post reminded me of it... so i said it out of light mostly, but a slight attack to be honest. so i apologise for the slight attack.

Oh thats so nice of you to apologize. But I did not take it that way at all. It made me stop and think if that man needed a veggie cutter more than me then surely I would be fine with that and be happy for him.I was more thinking that I have been looking for one and there it was and I couldnt believe it.So I was hoping it was not what he wanted for himself.
I am looking at how I want to set myself aside and look out for others interests. I guess thats why I post so much here. I want to help others and give them my best.I hope I put that out there.I work on not being selfish always.
Thank you again for your sweet post.

i enjoy your posts! i like your writing and your sence of humor. whenever i read your posts i hear a voice that sounds like that one character on the movie "pretty in pink" ..it's the older woman who worked at the record store with molly and gave molly the prom dress. and it reminds me of a woman i knew in california.
i do this a lot with a lot of people on forums.. i hear a voice ect... sometimes it never matches when/if i do meet and talk to them on phone. other times it was exactly right.
i wonder if others are like this too? you know... hear a voice while reading their posts.
