Absolutely buy the following foods organically:

* Peaches
* Apples
* Sweet bell peppers
* Celery
* Nectarines
* Strawberries
* Cherries
* Lettuce
* Grapes (imported)
* Pears
* Spinach
* Potatoes

The following can be skipped since they are considered the "clean dozen"

* Broccoli
* Eggplant
* Cabbage
* Banana
* Kiwi
* Asparagus
* Sweet peas (frozen)
* Mango
* Pineapple
* Sweet corn (frozen)
* Avocado
* Onion

You don't have to eat organically, but organic food is better than its non-organic counterpart.

To wash, just use veggie wash at your local health food store and scrub the fruit/vegetables really well. It won't get everything off, but it does a pretty good job.

I don't when I purchase from the Market. But when I eat out of My Garden it is.

Well I would advise you to do so, as it is not just good for you health, but also for the wildlife and Mother earth.
If you cant afford it that is another thing. Coolexplosions list is a good guiding line in that case. Local is always better, and somtimes you can get great stuff from farmers markeds that might not be sprayed but is not entierly organic either.

Studies show that there are more nutritiens in organic produce, plus not filling you body with cemicals and other toxins is another gain. If you are planing to have children in the near future I highly recomend you eating as much organinc as posible, as the babys little body will inherriage your toxins.

Oh and then organics tastes soooooooo much better :D

For clean water you can get a cheap Britta filter witch works great. It will safe you huge amounds of money compared with drinking bottled water. Plastic bottle also fill up landfills and the plastic can leache into the water.

There is a thread going right now about vegetabel wash, check that out for more info about that. I usaly only use plain water. But I dont know what the bedst way is.

Organic is best. Given all our bodies experience now in this world,we need beyond organic.Wild foods are even more superior.Theres just only so much we can do.
The "dirty dozen" list is a good guide if you must buy some non organic.The best and worst are listed there.The worst are the most toxic and must be avoided at all cost. I carry the list in my purse,just in case I see a sale or am a little short that week but I rarely am willing to compromise my health like that-eating pesticide laden food as well as lesser quality nutrients.
Theres so much we can do to help ourselves in our health.Many other things we are subjected to and cant do anything about.Organic we can choose!!!!
