Hello, this is my first and introductory post!
My name is Laura and I live in south-western Ohio. I am wife to one fabulous man and mom to 3 wonderful kiddos whom I am homeschooling. I am currently on day 5 of my third MC and plan to do a raw challenge after coming off of the cleanse. My sweet husband is on board with me on this cleanse and also very supportive and will go raw with me--at least partially anyway! I have been intrigued with the raw food lifestyle since my 30 day cleanse last summer, but hadn't fully jumped on board to try it yet. I feel like I have so much to learn and I know it will take lots of time and research.....and trial and error with recipes! I have a couple of books already and tons more reserved on my inter-library loan system. Now I really want to get Alissa's book and dvd too!
I feel slightly helpless as for where to start. Like what to buy food-wise to start out with. I will begin breaking my fast on Sunday (with fresh squeezed oj) and will transition into raw from there. I would love to try going 100% raw for the first month, but maybe that's too hard starting out? I don't know... Is it better to start at about 80% and work up?
Anyway, I'm sure it will all work out! Can't wait to learn along with all the other newbies from all you veterans!
Blessings,
Laura
