Does anyone here eat raw fish as part of their raw diet?

Many may yet, this board is specifically set up to support the raw vegan diet so will not be discussed here.

Blech!!! Oops, sorry, but no. Never had, never will. AND like Revvell said, it is definitely NOT supported on THIS forum...

Does anybody know of any forums or can we make a small SUB SECTION that people who eat fish or dairy could chat?

I'm finding it a little unnerving about posting my diet or questions that people won't accept me because I just ate a can of salmon.

We accept YOU; we just don't want to talk about dairy or the eating of the carcasses of dead animals including fish and poultry.

If you (general "you"; not YOU you) read the mission statement about this forum, you'll understand what it's about and why it was created.

HUGS! I accept you all too!

I just wish I could find a little subset group of people that eat 80% raw, but still consume flesh. (I know, puke, gag, blegh, gross!)

NO! Please, I surely didn't mean it that way and apologize if I came off too harsh! I'm simply reinforcing the 'rules' of this forum.

I'd bet a body part there are thousands that post here that eat meat/dairy/animal products.

It's not about not accepting you. I just don't accept that way of eating...

sorry...really!

MrJ, haven't found one yet. I eat vegetarian, but I use bee pollen and honey, so I am not technically vegan. And although this site claims to be raw vegan and not tolerating of anything else, it advocates bee products. A bit hypocritical if you ask me. Not sure why a bee merits less respect than a fish. The claim is that the bee products are sooo good for you, but if talking about animal products is prohibited for ethical reasons then hypocritical is definitely what it is.

Again, this site is NOT raw vegan, it is raw vegetarian. It is only raw vegan in name.

mission statement + basics for this board

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a mission statement and just a basic guideline about what is and is
not accepted and expected on this board:
-----------------------------------------------------
You do not have to be 100% raw or even 50% raw, but you do need to be supportive of this lifestyle and striving towards or interested in this raw vegan diet. If you are having doubts or thinking that this is not for you that is fine but then this may not be the place for you. Just like a meat eaters board or a macrobiotic board would not be the place for a raw fooder who is just interested in forcing their thoughts upon those people. These people on this board are here for support, motivation and connection in connection with Alissa Cohen's book and DVDs Living on Live Food.
I would appreciate it if everyone would abide by this post.

Thank you,
Alissa

Extended mission statement since some people seem to need to hear more:

This is a raw food board for asking and receiving questions and answers in regards to going and staying raw. This board is for the support of the raw food lifestyle, getting and giving advice and connecting with other people who are STRIVING TO GO AND BE RAW VEGAN according to the principles in Alissa Cohen's book Living on Live Food. It is not for debating whether this diet is good or bad or for posting questions that try to debunk the raw food diet. This does not mean that people cannot ask questions and seek answers but just as a raw fooder or someone believing in the raw food diet would not go to a meat board, a macrobiotic or an Atkins board and start debating those fellow board members beliefs, questioning their approach to their personal diets and interrupting and disrupting there place of support, so is this not appropriate on this board. This board is for people wanting support and connection.

There is enough fear and mistruth and debating about diet going on in all of the places outside of this Internet circle. This is not the place for that. It is a place to come and share your same interest in the vegan raw food diet, get support and feel connected. If you need information that you feel you are not finding here or are looking for opposing views about this diet and want to discuss these view, this is not the place to do that. Search the net and you can find all you want. You are welcome to ask questions and have different opinions but please be mindful and respectful that this is a raw food board whose members are raw, striving to be raw and/or are searching for vegan raw food information.

O.k., beegan then. I didn't say this site WAS raw vegan, I said it was set up to support the raw vegan lifestyle and, as far as I know, it's not about ethics so much as it is about health.

I agree.
I purchased lots of cookies from Mat Monarch's site in 2007 and when they arrived I tucked in and then realised that they all contained honey. I was so annoyed as I was looking forward to the treat. I had assumed that everything he sold was vegan.

If you know that putting death into your body is puke gag blegh gross I'm not sure why you're still doing it.

Aijia, it's not puke gag blegh gross to me. It's puke gag blegh gross to YOU.

Give or take a verb!
