Good morning everyone. I am hoping to get some advice from all you wonderful people here in Raw Food Talk land! I have been 100% raw for over 2 months now and have been detoxing the entire time. Mostly through sweat. However, the past couple days I have felt awful. A couple weeks ago I was eating a lot of soaked pumpkin seeds, I made myself stop (I have a theory that I was using them to slow down the detox process) and had a complete emotional breakdown Friday/Saturday on top of feeling absolutely horrible. I have been taking Chlorella, but that's been an ongoing thing for a couple months now (on and off). Today I have a horrible headache and have been coughing (but more like an itchy throat cough then a sick cough). I also have a super tight chest that improves when I place my hand on my chest and do some Reiki. I have never had heart burn but this is what I would guess it might feel like.
My diet consists mostly of greens and fresh fruit. I don't eat a lot of dried stuff and I don't eat a lot of veggies. I drink at least a quart of thick green smoothie a day and have a big salad for dinner usually (with lemon juice for dressing). The salad usually consists of greens (microgreens, spinach, kale and arugula are my favorites lately) an non sweet fruits (tomatoes, red/yellow/orange peppers, olives, avocado) and maybe onion, a little salt and pepper and kelp with cayenne. I drink a lot of water (with MSM and Lemon juice sometimes) and have a kombucha ever other day or so (home made). I am 100% vegan and never crave anything anymore that isn't vegan (rarely crave cooked foods).
I am really perplexed, and would love some thoughts?
