There are things you can order from the internet. Such as Seeds, Sprouts, Fruit, Coconuts, so possible Vegetables, Why not do a Search and see. Spring will be here sooner than you think and everything will be Sprouting. Have you tried Sprouting some Sprouts?

diamondorganics.com delivers nationwide. It would be a relatively expensive way to go, though.

ive been here outside detroit entire life , and i guarantee this info
below is a link to a map and info on a great produce store called vince and joes , its big / clean / well stocked . and its in a GREAT area . this area is like the edge of suburbia where you can buy a very expensive home in very new and fancy neighboorhoods , or a couple miles in another direction buy a older / simpler place for just over $100,000 . in the link you can bring the map out and out to see all of south east michigan in order to see exactly where im talking about . this area is right by big highways that your dh could use to travel for work if hes working in detroit or somewhere else . and youll notice on this map a place ' stoney creek park , well its a beautiful big county park with a excellent swimmimng lake / picnic sites / bike paths (theres alot of bike paths in the area) / trails / wooded . this is where i told my brother that was going to move back home from california to buy a home , its a great area in these parts . and i'll also bring back a link to another great produce store like 4 miles from this one called randazzos , its just as GREAT :D (im not kidding neither , i hunt produce constantly and these are the 2 best around . ask 'morn' here whom alsos in the region and i bet she says romans right - verbatem / every word in thread :D

also notice on map how close the highway 75 is , well this is the biggest highway inmichigan and the road used to travel north to all the vacation / resort areas . and notice to the eas is lake st clair = a boaters heaven , then canada . from the vince and joes area you coud drive to the blue water bridge in port huron and be in canada in like 30 minutes . and 75 goes right into detroit .

im in this area all the time and would be glad to give you any info .
ive a childhood friend with kids in that area that could inform me of the best schools if you want . also from this area like 3 miles away is hall road , its probably called M59 , or plain 59 on the map . well right along hall road is evetry store / mall / restraunt on earth . all newly built over past 20 years is EVERY store on earth . womens clothes stores like crazy , furniture stores , big department stores like walmart / target / etc , home depots , the list goes on and on . and if you move here theres a store chain called MEIJERS that has very good groceries , plus it carries household goods like quilts / lamps / small appliances , and clothes , shoes , etc . its a super store of this region . family owned for a century by good people that know what theyre doing and sell good stuff at a good price . you can buy things like jeans there for $13 , sweatshirts $7 , etc . you know the cheaper but still well made brands .
and heres a direct link to vince and joes site =

czpinky ide call the nearest good produce place you know and ask them if you placed an order could they find someone who'd take whatever amount you want to offer to deliver it . im sure the store people would know someone thatd take the delivery work . or also a friend or neighboor might want the few extra bucks to run the delivery .

Ok that is too cool.
Roman - I have been looking, specifically, at the Ypsilanti area all morning and now here you go providing a link to a store there. That is just too much! I even told hubby that I would like to concentrate the search to that area due to its close proximity to Ann Arbor (and Whole Foods!) and ruralish setting.

If you move to the Ypsi/Ann arbor area, you will have a great choice of stores. Whole foods, Hilliers, Trader Joes are all on Washtenaw ave. within a few miles of each other. There are food co-ops, farmers markets in the summer. Ann Arbor is a university town, so there are always a lot of interesting things going on. Very eco conscious place.Nothing is more than a few miles from each other. Lots of parks and bike riding places. I lived there until recently moving to Florida. Great place but very cold, long winters, IMHO :)
