I am so happy with myself! I have been making these wonderful green juices, and I mean real green, no fruit, but for a lemon :)
This is a 24 ounce glass of a bunch of organic beet greens, spinach, a thimb size of ginger and one lemon. It's so fresh and bright tasting.
This is a big step in my raw journey as I always used to add apples and oranges ect to my green juice, and you know what the best part was?;)
You can make it quick and ez in your blender then just strain thru a nut mylk bag! How easy is that. This is a daily to do.

So Pretty! I did that with wheat grass and asparagus twice this week. Delicious, but probably not as tasty as your combo. Yours is prettier, too. Mine came out very foamy.

There is nothing more beautiful than a tall green glass of juice.

How did you get THAT much juice? Do you have celery and cucumber in there? Just green leaves must require ALOT of greens. I don't get a lot from my juicer when I just juice leaves. I have to use cucumber or something for volume. I would LOVE to get that much from leaves without going poor. :) How did you do it??? I am going to try to juice just greens and see how much I can get. Thanks for the lovely pic!!!

I drink green daily now too. I throw handful of spinach, 2 apples, 1 cup of water (per the directions) and I have beau coup pulp/foam whatever and drink/eat it all.
Isn't that okay? I mean, isn't the pulp nutritious (the skin of the apples is all in there too. I use a Vita-Mix). I'm not supposed to be throwing all that goodness away . . . AM I?

I made some delicious Pulp crackers from it. Idea given to me from Rawchic. ;)

Raw juice is one of the best way to cleanse your body and give your digestive system a rest. Raw green smoothies and juice are like comparing apples and mulberries.
If saving the pulp is a concern then by all means save it and use it in another recipe.
also.... I used pure water in my juice. I just wasn't in the mood to break out my omega, but I see no problem in adding 8 to 12 ounces of clean water; it is still juice.
