I really believe that on raw we can look forward to "youthing" every year rather than aging! :-)
The other night at the grocery store (in the produce section of course) a young man in his early twenties started flirting with me. I'm 39. He was very sweet, but I wasn't interested and I figured an easy way to discourage him was to tell him that I was too old for him. So, I told him and he refused to believe me! He kept insisting that I couldn't be "that old" lol. I had to show him my ID to prove it!
I used to dread getting older every year before raw, but now I don't mind birthdays at all because it is just another raw and another year getting better and better!
Have a lovely day!
Blessings,
Audrey

It's amazing to think that just by adding some living foods, large amounts of produce to our diet... that we can turn back the hand of time.
I'm only 24, my DH is 34, and I'm looking forward to keeping us healthy for years to come.
P.S. That's awesome that you're getting hit on by much younger men (= Audrey are you married? You could turn into a cougar! Rawr!

There is chronological age and then there is your age based on how you take care of yourself. Something funny on this....
.I took the "Real age" survey online. The results were hilarious. I aged instead of got younger because
I didnt eat breads and sticky stuff( they called it fiber..haha).
And that I drive a small car.
That I dont eat enough variety of fruits and veggies(when the survey didnt ask what variety I eat and I eat more diff kinds than anybody I know..haha).
Exercise,I give.My body asks for movement daily and I need more!!!
That I have stress.haha who doesnt I ask?
Anyway the results were that my "Real Age" assessment put me at 46.
I just turned 50 two weeks ago and I thought that I felt 34! So its all a stae of mind and body inside of oneself. AND(we are not comparing here) but we surely surpass the s.a.d. plan right????
So I look at my 50 years of life as that I am "advanced in experience and seasoned in life".Grey hair is a crown of glory....I dont have any....haha..cant wait.

I love your insight Audrey and I'm going to adopt this term. I'm 45 and tended to attract younger men before Raw, but now it's insane. Down to 20 year olds who think I'm in college. I don't tell them my age anymore - that just makes it worse and they become relentless! It's that cougar thing (a term I hate). It seems there's a trend out there to notch an older lady on your belt. hahaa. So I don't tell them my age anymore.
Love it - Youthing. I think you should patent that. :D
Many blessings of light & happiness to you.

artgirly, I found that questionnaire skewed against vegans. I think it marked me down for not eating meat, fish 3 times a week (even though I take omega supplements) and I got marked down for 9 hours sleep a night. It's what I sleep in the winter and there is nothing unhealthy about it. So I would take the numbers you get from that with a grain of salt.

Awwwww, that's so cool! Well, it makes sense, doesn't it? I'm 55, don't feel like it, don't look like it and certainly refuse to act like it! LOL!!!
I work with an 18 year old who told me last night, "You sure know how to keep busy here in the store, don't you? I admire all your energy."
How cool? From a young buck! LOL!!!
We ARE truly what we eat! And it shows!

Yes. I laughed so hard when I saw what they accessed me at and I did it just for that reason anyway. The things the doctors and RDA says we need to eat and the reality are soooo far apart. The food pukemid...haha I just made that up.
It was the meat thing for me too they made me older for.How ironic for we all know how meat sticks in the body and decays there and ages us.Tooo funny.
I get hit by kids in high school. The ones who see me in college just think I'm a genius. Works for me. :D
