Stopped off at commissary on base on way home this morning - they had 99 cent pineapples!! (non-organic, but for the $$$, I picked up 8!)

There were some good deals on some organic stuff I usually buy there too (they carry the BIG 1# containers of organic salad mix & baby spinach...) Also starting to have a decent organic selection of personal hygiene items.

Don't you just love to see more organic stuff on your grocer's shelves??

You can use them up to make smoothies if there are too much to eat.
My breakfast smoothie today is just pineapple, Lots of sprouts, green powders and 3 dessertspoons of crushed flax seeds.
I am having pineapple chunks on the side.

Yes! Great deal! I love pineapple so, so much. If you have too much to eat you can cut it up and freeze it for awesome smoothies and sorbet.

Don't you love it when that happens? Last weekend I found big containers of organic strawberries at the produce store for $.99! I bought 6 (all I could carry) and froze them. They are usually $5.49 this time of year at Whole Foods. That same store also had pineapples once for $.99. I was SO excited... LOL.
