Hello,
I just joined today and came across this site because I was looking for a Raw Vegggie Burger Recipe and I knew I had to join. I just started eating raw about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it and the way that I feel. I've been reading books on faw foods and I have my new dehydrator so I can really experiment. Right now I just been eating salads, raw corn salad, lettuce wraps and flax seeds and of course my fruits and veggie. I know I am going to love it here.

Welcome Carolina Gurl!
Raw is so incredible and is a Process depending on each person's addiction to SAD (Standard American Diet). There's so much here to read and learn and everyone is so caring and helpful. :)
I am originally from NC ..... born in Camp Lejuene and lived in Wilmington until a Teenager. Wherebouts are you?

I go on early Saturday mornings if I am not working that's the only free time I have. I might go there today on my lunch break. Looking for some raw nuts and sesame seeds so I can make a veggie burger.

You know I get most of my nuts and seeds from Earth Fare. I just don't find that many at Fresh Market.. but beware of their raw almonds. I looked them up on their website and it states that they are from California which means that they are pasteurized, not raw. I was so bummed when I saw this because they are cheaper than Earth Fare, but that's probably why. :( This is why I go to both stores though.. most of my produce I get from FM and then specialty items are EF. EF even has raw cacao and some other raw treats. :D

Thanks for the tip I would have never known. I didn't find any nuts there anyway yesterday now I'm glad I didn't.
