My body has been through alot hormonally & b/c of that in the past I had gained 60#. I've lost about 40 of it but it's like impossible to lose anymore! It is really hard for me to get lean which used to not be a problem in the past.
I'm trying to see if my body will make any changes in muscle tone if I eat more protein throughout the day. I'm adding spirulina in the powder form to my smoothie post-workout & to dips. I'm also trying to add more greens.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do?

Not sure exactly what the hormonal things are but have you tried Maca? It's wonderful!

Hormones can reak havoc with our bodies...we can have too much and it's a Bear when we don't have enough. I know Chlorella has seen Me through a lot of problems.
I'm still trying to learn more about Maca. I purchased some pills and the first one I took, a few minuter later, I felt a ting go to My Brest, so I backed off. I am not able to find a lot of information on the Web or this Forum about it.
My latest thing to try is the Progesterone Cream.

Spirulina and chlorella are awesome I use both and in powder which I have right after every work out.
Whats your fat intake like?
Have you tried going 1 week with no fat in your meals?

Spirulina is great. I love that stuff.
But I think you need to address the root of the problem, which is hormonal. Maca is great for restoring hormonal balance for both men and women. So is wild yam, if you are a woman.

Maybe mixing up your workouts?
Have you been doing the same thing for a while? Try something new and different?
