hey I have a question this recipe from the book Raw by Juliano has anyone tried it and what did you think? then I wrote down the recipe from the book when I got it from the library and it says 1/4 cup of flaxseeds-so do I need to soak them golden or brown? I ran accross this recipe tonight and want to try it after I am done with a fast I am on and when I start making recipes again. thanks.

I think ive done it a long time ago, the flax is only soaked if the recipe says to. I dont think brown or golden matter but I think golden tastes better and is healthier so thats all I use.

I believe that you are suppose to grind them into a flour . What does the recipe say exactly ?

Yes you are suppose to grind the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder and then blend everything together in a blender . Deh. this at 90 degrees and for 3-5 hours . I just looked it up in my Raw by Juiliono .
