Hi,

After living with the s.a.d. diet for years I transitioned to veg. I became more interested in raw after a workshop about food and mindful eating. One of the speakers was raw and it immediately caught my attention. The healthy lifestyle and benefits are worth it. I don't have much support and I'm new to all of this. I welcome and pointers and tips...
I am hooked on green smoothies, they are delic! I have been reading a little bit about juice feasting...but don't know too much about it. Should I get a dehydrator?

Thanks!

Green Smoothies are a RAWonderful Beginning and Permanent way of Life. Support is something you can't depend on someone else to give you if it is something you want to do. If you get if fine and if you don't you can't blame anyone, you must decide this is what you want and work your self hard to recieve it.
But we at this Forum are here for you with our own experiences and encouragement for you.

I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW........Welcome to MY World.

Thank you all for the kind words. This is something I am serious about and intend and seeing it through on my journey. My family and friends are supportive in a way. I just think they do not understand the benefits and way if life. In my area I do not know anyone that follows this kind of lifestyle as I do. That is why I joined this forum and so far it's been very informative. :)

Yes do it for you.Support or not.Draw on all the resources you can to inspire you.Make it your own, not how someone else is doing it and certainly not how some "guru" says you "should".Smoothies are huge in your new green life. They are packed with bliss as well as green juice.I put greens and celery and maybe a pear in the blender and blend and then through a nut milk bag....instant bliss.
Best to you in your new raw world. Its great and worth it!

Welcome to the RFT :) I'm raw since 2003 and have never used a dehydrator: you don't NEED it. Have fun!
