Hello!

I'm on day 3 and excited! I've been veg and vegan in the past, but had been eating SAD for the last 5 years. Since the first of the year I've transitioned back, one step at a time. I work with a woman who is high raw so I do have some support there.

I am having some stomach pain that I'm hoping you can help with. After I eat most fruits, but especially apples, my stomach really hurts about 3 fingers above my bellybutton. I discovered today that if I eat almonds with the apple then it seems to temper the pain. The only fruit that doesn't seem to bother me is banana. So what do you think this means? Should I avoid most fruit? Or should I just eat it with nuts?

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Can't offer you any specific advice, but I do find that transitioning I got some digestive problems (can't remember if it was specifically fruit though) but they went away after a while. Three days is ony the beginning so you might need to wait till your body adjusts.

Your body goes through some pretty spectacular changes and digestive issues is just one of them.

Keep an eye on it, and hopefully it will pass. But if you find anything that tempers it, by all means go for it.

Welcome :) I would do a juice fast if I would suffer from pain. Your body needs a rest and raw vegan food,-the best thing you can offer to yourself. Get well soon, Eva
