Is there any other way to make a raw pie crust other than with dates and almonds. Not really fealling that combination.....

I prefer to use sunflower seeds instead of nuts as I feel that you are eating a lot of them in a pie and the seeds are healthier than overdoing the nuts.
At the moment I am mixing them with dates and Lecuma Flour.

I just made a pie today that used sunflower seeds for the crust:

Blend sunflower seeds to a powder.
Pour into large bowl.
Mix in carob powder.
Mix in Agave. - I used honey with some vanilla from the bean.

This crust was really good.

I have listed a few crust recipes in this extensive (sorry) thread above. I'm afraid I dont have the time to scroll through to tell you which one.

My crusts are crunchy as I have never liked the standard soft raw crust. They are very similar to SAD crusts.
