There is an asian dish; it is only sliced cucumbers and a sauce served normally as an appetizer at Japanese sushi restaurants... I can't remember what it's called, but I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for it-- it's the sauce that I want to know how to make, really.
If I'd have remembered what it was called, I'd have done a search!

I think Alissa has it in her book. I do believe it's called Cucumber Salad or Suonomo (something like that) in Japanese.
If you don't find it in Alissa's book, lemme know. I know I've got it in a book somewhere since I made it one time and it tasted just like what I've gotten in Japanese restaurants.

You're welcome. Hope it's what you're looking for. If not, bump this up on occasion and I'm sure someone will come up with another.
Injoy ~
