just had to add that I can relate to the record breaking heat...and the cold, cold winters! Raw in the winter will be interesting....I'm told to eat lots of nuts and soups that are just warm enough.

Bowmanville, ahh your a fellow Ontario girl. Why did you leave? Unless you left to escape the harsh winters then I applaud you. I need to get out of the cold I'm not sure that raw would work so great during the winter months. :confused:

Welcome! Well, I can't relate to the cold weather here in Southern California--I've actually never been in temperatures colder than 28 degrees!

PeatrixPotter i wish i was living in california, you guys have all the amazing restaurants, and i noticed when i was down there a few months ago, a lot of people eat really healthy out there.

ahhhhh I left Ontario to marry a man I met online. Dont freak! It worked out beautifully. We've been together 4 and a half years now and married for 2 and love each other dearly.

I do miss Ontario and Canada, but not the extreme weather! Or Mike Harris for that matter...haha
