Hello!

It seems you all would be the authority on this, so I thought I would ask in the juicing section, hope this is appropriate.

I was wanting to do a juice fast, but I'm a bit concerned about hunger pangs. As of right now I drink a green smoothie, drink fruit and vegetable juice daily, eat nuts and berries, but I still get hunger pangs - so without doing all that and just getting juice, I'm concerned over what it takes to get through a fast. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, how much do you recommend I juice, what should I be juicing, and are there any other bits of information you all wish you had when you started your juice fast?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much for sharing your experience and wisdom with me!

Put "juice fasting advice" in your search page and you will find lots of sites like this

yes you are going to feel hungry in the first days of your fast... but that's part of the process. you need to allow yourself those feelings and find ways to focus your attention elsewhere :) after day 3... it usually slows down. if it doesn't... tossing in a day of water fasting and then going back to juices usually stops the hunger pangs.

my advice to you is to read some of the long fasting threads in the fasting section. there is sooooooooo much information in them... really valuable info. ;)
