View Full Version : Hare Today
I was factoring out how much meat I will go through to feed my ferrets a strict raw diet and I will be using 1lb/day, 7lbs/week, or about 28-35lbs per month. That is a lot of meat and very expensive if I were to be buying it at the grocery store. I found Hare Today and I was wondering if anyone has used them. What is the shipping price like? Service? Speed of delivery?

I haven't used them yet, but everything I've read of both Hare Today and RodentPro has been positive.
I'll be placing my first order with both this week. :)
Let me know how Hare Today is with shipping and quality. Will you be purchasing any whole prey items from them? My ferrets love whole prey, so I'm either going to breed my own feeder rats/mice or buy in bulk from Rodent Pro. I've heard good things about them and a lot of people I talk to about reptiles use them. I also just found out two of my cats ADORE whole prey.

Hi, I LOVE Hare Today! I just placed my 2nd order with them today.
I have nothing bad to say. It ships when they say and it arrives when they say. Their products are very high quality. Tracy is fairly personable. She sent me a couple of emails after my first order. She appreciates it when you post a review for products you have ordered. I haven't looked all that hard, but I think her prices are probably the best you'll find...especially for the quality.

Circle, Hare Today is a great place to order raw meat for pets. I've never heard of Rodent Pro, been checking them out. Hare Today has a great variety, their service is excellent. I am trying to transition my cats to a raw food diet. The only one that is remotely cooperating is my 16 yr old kitty. She will eat a little bit. My 4 yr old and 2 yr old will not touch it. I might have to get MEAN!!!

Circle, I understand that if your pet is on a raw diet, stuff like that goes away. There are many people here who have successfully moved their pets to a raw diet. It would be nice to hear something from them. If you read through a lot of these threads, you will find problems that have cleared up and several that address litter box "improvements". Keep reading, I think you will find answers to many of your questions. Good luck!!!
