Okay, here's the necessary ingredients and what I can think to substitute...

1/3 cup cocoa

I'd assume carob works for this...

1-1/2 cups sugar

Stevia or Agave?

1/2 tsp. salt

Sea salt, no problem

2/3 cup milk

Almond milk?

1/4 cup light corn syrup

Honey, maybe? Agave? Not sure on this one.

1/4 cup butter or margarine

Not sure on this! Avacado? Nut butters?

2/3 cup chopped nuts

Easy and optional

1-3/4 cups rolled oats, quick or old fashioned (uncooked)

That works

1/2 cup malted milk powder

Malt powder is a natural derivative of sprouted barley...can this be done on raw?

Sounds like it could possibly be done...would this work? I was thinking of maybe making fudge balls from Alissa's book, but adding barley malt if possible.

Not sure if that would work, experiment and let us know. ;-)

BTW... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Just wanted to respond to this to say that to you.

Love,
Angie

1/4 cup butter -use coconut oil, butter - what ever says it is

use agave for the light corn syrup.

Let me know how it is.
