Hi all. I have been browsing the boards for a while now and I decided it was time I registered and started posting!

Ive been on and off raw for 3 and a half years now. I am currently on day 15 of 100% (well probably a little less given I don't yet have raw agave, cashews and nama shoyu). I went on a level 1 chef certificate with Louisa Eyo in Manchester which was a great day and really helped focus me back on raw.

I ordered both Alissa's book and dvd after the course and they are both great. I made enchilada for my tea tonight and oh boy was it good!

I live with my partner who is a meat eater, but enjoys green smoothies, raw chocolate mousse and recently requested more meat free lunches!

Anyway nice to be here with you all.

Hi Fee,

welcome - are you from Manchester?? I lived there for 4 years and still miss it. Unicorn in Chorlton is a great place to shop groceries- they are a vegan coop- they sell miso that is soy free (still haven't found that here in california), another great source is the company clearspring, they have an online store and they have specialized in Japanese Foods i used to get nama shoyu from them. If you happen to live in Heaton Moor and the Blue Corn is still around- they will order anything for you that you can't get in the stores. They used to be my source for extra virgin coconut oil.

Hi CHerrypie - I used to live in Manchester, but now live in Accrington (home of the famous or infamous football team) near Blackburn. I LOVE Unicorn. It opened about the time I left Manchester but I tend to have a visit every so often to stock up on things. I just wish it was nearer and I could go more often, especially for the veg. Thanks for the ideas, I might have to go and check out the Blue Corn too sometime.

Hello Fee. How nice to have you joining us. What wonderful incentive to get back to raw - having been able to take a course. You are eating good stuff and it's encouraging that your partner enjoys some too. Welcome.:)
