Newbie :o)

Hello All!

I'm new to raw foods. I ate the typical cooked 'food' diet and over the last year have become a vegetarian, then a vegan (about 75% raw), and now i'd like to go all the way and do it raw 100%!!

Are there any other raw foodists in my area? I'm in Kingston Ontario Canada

I'm looking forward to chatting with you all on my journey to the best me ever :o)

and no , there are no other raw foodists in ontario / canada :eek:
your the only one , everyone else is at tim hortons getting donuts :cool:

actually though ive noticed alot of raw vegans in ontario ,
it seems as though the west coast are where the most are .
then back east ontario / toronto seems to be a center .
and if youve never heard of it theres a raw foodist festival
in ottawa annually

i'll bring back a blog link to a very awesome raw chef from
northen ontario called fairygirl . i think she holds classes , while
also has a great ebook of her wonderful deserts

So I guess drinking tea and bambu aren't considered doing it raw eh? I'll miss those, but i feel so much better every time I eliminate something non-raw from my diet

SimplyRaw in Ottawa host monthly raw potlucks, so make sure to come out to one of them. They often show movies, and bring in various authors and internationally recognized speakers. They also organizie the ever popular SimplyRaw Festival and Pie Contest sometime in early autumn.
