I am thinking about doing a green smoothie/juice fast. Is it ok to do both and I am a slender person and worried would I lose weight? I have never fasted before.

yes you can do both, but you won't be allowing your body to heal quite as deeply since your digestion won't be allowed to 'sleep'.
there are no fasting police... you can do whatever you desire!
as for weight release... i know people who are very thin (like melissa) who fast all the time and don't release much weight since their bodies don't need to. you'd just have to take it day by day. ;)
but do remember... you have about 6 pounds of feces inside you that will come out and when you begin eating again... will come back!

Hey thanks for your response. Yes, there is no fasting police, but it seems you would get more benefit to do a juice fast. My friends and I have been called to do a 21 day fast. I guess I am excited and scared at the same time, but God will give me the strength I need. Also can you exercise while fasting?? I plan on walking/running on my threadmill and rebounding.

yes, you can. Just listen to your body and you'll be fine. Don't be scared: it's one of the most beautiful things you can do to yourself. Enjoy! :)

yes you can exercise but please remember... whatever energy you use to exercise (beyond light exercise) you take away from your body... your body will use all available energy for healing and cleansing... so depending on what you want to achieve... consider this first!
