I've been Raw for a little over a month now, and found this site. Looking forward to learning more about the Raw lifestyle and nutritional information on this site.

Question!

How much maca should I put into my smoothies? Like a spoonful? More or less? I just got mine today and I wasn't sure what to put in there, but I think I added too much - seems a bit bitter today.

Here's my typical smoothie:

1 - 3 leaves of kale, 1/8th cup flaxseeds, handful goji berries, spoonful spirulina, maca (New today), honey, banana, raw cacao (If I'm not feeling lazy and peel them), handful blueberries

Welcome to the board :) Never had maca, perhaps someone else'll be able to help you out.
Enjoy your smoothies!

I have a little scoop that came in my maca so I've always just used it. Just for you...I measured it! It's just a little over one teaspoon :D LOL! Too much tastes bad! I actually do mine mixed into a little juice, like a shot, then chug more juice!

Welcome. Usually 1-2 Tbs of Maca is good, depending on what you're using it for. Mixing it with cacao improves the flavor.
