cucumber/celery juice

Just wondering......is cucumber/celery juice considered "green" or are only juices made with leafy greens considered a green juice.:confused:

I think it's "partly" green, but that's just me. I would throw in some spinach or kale or something dark, leafy green, but then again, that's just me...

I consider celery to be a green. That said, I always throw either parsley, collards or chard in with it. In fact add a few carrots, an apple and a whole lemon and you have my favorite lemonade recipe!

I've seen those called "sweet greens" which are typically used with "leafy greens" to make a "green juice". Not sure where I read that, probably in one of Cherie Calbom's juicing books.

If the cucumber is organic you can juice it with the peel for some extra green.

They are definitely great for you.Green is leafies really but I love love love celery in my juice.It is so cleansing.
