what i really want is a blender that breaks ice easily. my mom loves icy smoothies, and it seems she's even making her own smoothies! :)
i don't want to spend more than $200.xx on the newer vitamix yet. so i'm wondering if the much older ones like the 2200 or 500 also do the trick of blending ice nicely? anyone know?
or can suggest a blender that crushes ice easily?
right now, i'm using an osterizer. we cut up the fruits, put them in the freezer and add water to blend. it can't really crush ice at all.
